This week in Mr. Somers class we saw a video clip on ”To build a Fire” and were told to write a blog for a topic on the story we watched. I chose my topic to be on the breed of dogs. I will tell you abut breeds of dogs that can survive in cold temperatures. In these paragraphs I will tell you about these types of dogs are capable of surviving in the wilderness.
“My first question was what types of dogs could survive cold temperatures?” I did some research and found out that many breeds of dogs are capable to survive in cold temperatures and these are the few that can survive in the cold temperatures.

American Eskimo Dog
Anatolian Shepherd
Bernese Mountain Dog
Chow Chow
German Shepherd
“My second question is what breeds of dogs live in the cold temperatures?”
Siberian Huskies
Alaskan Malamute
Samoyeds
Tibetan Mastiff
There is a lot other breeds that can actually live in them temperatures in extreme cold temperatures. My third and final question is “Does a size matter if the dog was Big or Small?”
It is by far that bigger and furrier dogs are more likely to survive in the wilderness because they are able to keep warm and hunt for there food.
